Marijuana and Hemp Legalization: Status Report for 04-13-15

This year has been perhaps the most successful year to date in terms of drug policy reform. More people are waking up to the reality of the failed War on Drugs, and we are seeing the result in state legislatures across the country.

Democrats and Republicans are joining hands to legalize industrial hemp and marijuana like never before. Our hard work is paying off. Now we just have to hammer the final nails into the coffin. Victory is within our grasp, and we must have the courage to seize it.

The resistance is waging on successfully. Federal drug warriors are shaking in their boots at the prospects of states rising up against the Drug War. It is already well under way, and probably happening in your state. Check out our latest Resistance Round Up to see if there is any new activity in your state:

PUSHING THESE BILLS TO VICTORY

Although the drug war is clearly winding down, lives are still being destroyed. People are still being caged for possessing a harmless, benign plant. An industrial cash crow crop is still being supressed for no good reason. We can bring that to these terrible policies more quickly by getting involved.

We can have success if we TAKE. ACTION. NOW. We can put the power back in the hands of the people if we conquer our apathy, and do the work necessary to bring about common sense reform.

Will you stand with us? We are almost at the finish line. Your action can put us over the top. Together, we can achieve peace in our streets.
